The Problem We Noticed
Most training apps do one thing well — running OR gym OR cycling. But real athletes don't live in silos. You might run three days, hit the gym twice, and cycle on weekends. Existing apps force you into separate ecosystems with separate subscriptions and disconnected data.
On top of that, most apps either give you a rigid plan that ignores life happening, or throw raw data at you without helping you understand what it means.
What We're Building
TrainQ is a single app that handles gym, running, and cycling with one adaptive engine. It creates structured training plans, guides you through sessions in real-time, and automatically adjusts when life gets in the way.
We're not building another social network disguised as a fitness app. There's no social feed, no follower count, no gamification tricks. Just clean, evidence-based training tools that help you get better.
Our Principles
🔒 Privacy is non-negotiable
Your health data belongs to you. We process on-device, never sell data, and give you full export/delete control. This isn't a feature — it's a founding principle.
📊 Evidence over hype
Every feature is grounded in sports science. No "fat-burning zones," no pseudoscience, no wellness buzzwords. If the research doesn't support it, we don't build it.
🎯 Clarity over complexity
More data isn't better data. We show you what matters and hide what doesn't. Every screen answers a question: "What should I do today?" and "Am I improving?"
Where We Are
TrainQ is currently in beta on iOS. We're a small, independent team based in Germany. Pro features launch end of March 2026.
